What are the essential documents required for project execution?

✅ What are the required Wadiz documents? 

This is a document that must be submitted to verify the reliability of the reward, production reliability, and qualification to proceed with the project. 

If you don't submit the required documents, you won't be able to proceed with the project.

Required documents are divided into pre-document and post-document depending on the time of submission. 
 

• Pre-document : This is a document that must be submitted during the project review stage.

• Post-document : This is a document that must be submitted after the project review and approval, and before the reward is sent. 

If prior documents are not submitted or insufficient, project approval may be suspended or rejected. 

If you don't submit post-documents, you won't be able to send a reward even if the project is finished, and the project may be canceled. 

✅ What to check before preparing required documents

Before preparing the required documents, you must first check the type of project and the configuration of the rewards.

Submission documents may vary depending on the type of project. 
 

1. Determine Project Type

※ The preorder specials must include at least one of the domestic-only, special configuration, and limited edition benefits.
   Even projects in the same category may vary depending on the type of funding and preorder.

2. Distinguishing Rewards 

You do not have to submit required documents to all rewards. 
 

• Gift Rewards (for gifts): No separate document submission required.

• All Rewards except Presentation Rewards: Both Funding and Preorder projects must submit required documents.

• In other words, all products sold and delivered for the purpose of providing rewards are subject to submission, except for gift rewards such as thank you gifts.

You need to prepare all three documents below. 
 

1. Maker Type Evidence Document 

   It is a document to confirm the maker's type, and it is a document to confirm the identity of the business operator. 
    

2. documents by production type 

   It is a document that proves how the reward was planned and produced, and it depends on the type of production. 

    • Self-production: Where the manufacturer is in charge of the entire process from planning, development, and production

    • Consignment manufacturing: Where the manufacturer is in charge of planning and development, but the production is entrusted to a third party (manufacturer)

    • ODM: When a part of the product developed by the manufacturer is modified or improved

    • Distribution agency: In the case of funding on behalf of distribution without direct production, it is necessary to submit an exclusive distribution contract between the manufacturer and the maker
    

3. Required documents for each Rewards item

   Under current law, the documents must be submitted when distributing products or crowdfunding, and the documents that must be prepared may vary depending on the category and detail of the reward.

▶ Preorder Project 

You need to prepare all three documents below.
 

1. Maker Type Evidence Document 

   The documents submitted to confirm the maker's type confirmation confirm whether the business is registered and whether the mail order business registration process under the Electronic Commerce Act has been completed. If you are not registered as a business operator, you cannot proceed with the project as a preorder type. 
    

2. a document of evidence of special benefits 

   Preorder projects must include special benefits, so check documents that can demonstrate this. 

   • Domestic only: Exclusive distribution documents proving that it is domestic only (Replaceable by the Maker Studio [Project Information] tab when producing on its own)

   • Special Configuration/Limited Edition: No need

Global makers are divided into cases where business registrations registered in the maker account are located in Korea and those outside of Korea. Depending on the country of business registration, the criteria for submitting documents are applied as follows.
