How are global project stories written and translated?

Global project stories can be written freely in the language the maker wants among Korean, English, Japanese, and Chinese (simplified).

After the project submission, the written story will be automatically translated by Wadiz AI, allowing supporters of each country to view the story in the language of their choice.

Currently, the automatic translation languages supported are Korean, English, Japanese, and Chinese (simplified).

  1. Select a story-writing language
  • Global project stories can be written in any language among Korean, English, Japanese, and Chinese (simplified).

  • Upon completion of the project submission, the written story will be automatically translated by Wadiz AI and supporters will be able to check the story in the language of their choice.

  • AI translation is an auxiliary function to help create stories, so the expression may not be natural. If necessary, you will need to modify it yourself.

  • The language available in the Global Story Management menu is basically the English version.

2. After the project submission, the 'Global Story Management' menu is activated.

When the project submission is complete, the Global Story Management menu within the maker studio is automatically activated.
You can check the story translated by AI and modify what you need.

  • Correction Method: Maker Studio → Global Story Management
    • Re-request translation: use AI translation when you want to re-apply it as a whole

    • To edit your own translation: Use it when you want to edit your own translation

3. Modifiable items in Global Stories

The Global Story Management Menu can only manage English stories.

    • You can register representative images and introductory images and videos for global stories.

  • Global Project Summary
    • If the translated English summary exceeds 120 characters, it is exposed in folded form in some environments.
    • Supporters can check the full contents by selecting the [Open] button.

FAQ

Q. Do I have to modify it in 'Global Story Management' even if the story writing language is English?

A. No, it's not. If the story-writing language is in English, it should be modified from the main story management menu (Maker Studio > Project Management > Story Menu) rather than the global project management menu.

Q. Where can I modify the automatic translation of stories written in languages other than English (Korean, Japanese, and Chinese)?

If the story-writing language is not English, Wadiz AI automatically creates an English translation.
At this time, the positions where the translation is modified are divided into the following.

  • If this story needs to be modified (Korean/Japanese/Chinese)
→ You must modify it in the Maker Studio > Project Management > Stories menu.

  • If you only want to modify the translated English story
→ You can modify it in Maker Studio > Global Story Management.

※ Since the original and the translation have different locations for modification, you must select the menu that suits the purpose of modification.
