CASE 01\n Examples of false · exaggerated and AI misleading advertisements
Food / Labeling and Advertising Act / FTC Guidelines /\n Amendment

01 · Sensing

AI Monitoring

I detected the title of '00kg deletion' and the image of a person who looks like a model promoting the product.

02 · Review

Operator Review

We checked whether the weight loss level of general food was determined and whether the person was an AI virtual person, not an actual model, based on the Display Advertising Act and the Fair Trade Commission\n guidelines.

03 · Measures

Request to modify the story

The corresponding phrase and image were requested to be deleted and corrected, and the maker completed reflecting it.

CASE 01 Detail Case
"Models Eat It All" — the model, actually, was AI.
It is a general food project that misled buyers by directing overseas models made of AI as if they had eaten rewards themselves. '00kg\n deletion' is added to the conclusion of weight loss. Wadiz found this through monitoring, reported it as false, exaggerated and misleading (Act on Labeling and Advertising of Food\n, etc., Recommendation by the Fair Trade Commission, Guidelines for Guarantee Examination) and requested deletion and correction.
CASE 02\n Adult Project Excessive Sensational Expression Case
Beauty, Gender Wellness / Display Advertising Act /\n Modified

01 · Sensing

AI Monitoring

We detected materials that used overly straightforward and sensational expressions and images in the project story.

02 · Review

Operator Review

The adult (19 years old) setting was applied, but we looked at whether the expression level exceeded the operating policy standard.

03 · Measures

Request to modify the story

Some overly sensational phrases and images have been requested to be corrected, and the maker has completed reflection.

CASE 02 Detail Case
Not all expressions are allowed by setting up 19 years old alone.
It was a project set as an adult (19 years old), but the storytelling was too straightforward and sensational. Even for adults, \n excessively sensational expressions may be limited by operational policy. Therefore, the corresponding phrase and image were requested to be modified, and the maker completed the reflection\n.

By type, there were a lot of reports of intellectual property infringement this week.

"Why is my product photo listed as a comparison target on other people's projects?" In addition to the report that the maker himself found and sent, there were various types ranging from theft of product images to unauthorized use of trademark and brand. Let's take a look at what happened through this week's major issues.

intellectual property infringement 67%

False Facts in the Story 33%

How do I use it to report?

Anyone can register 24 hours a day through the [Report] button at the top right of the project details page. If you submit specific facts and supporting data together when reporting, faster processing is possible.

03 · This week's main issue — Case of reporting infringement of intellectual property rights

This week, there were reports that "my product and brand were used without permission."

1. A photo of my product has been uploaded as a 'comparison target' on someone else's project.
Details of report
A request for correction was received, saying that the image of the company's product was included as a comparison group in the story of another project in progress, and that the comparison and derogation expression that undermined the company's product was also used.
Details of confirmation
Looking at it, it was confirmed that the image of the company's product was used as a comparison target without the consent of the right holder. We judged that there was a problem in terms of copyright and display advertisements, so we requested correction and correction of the image and expression, and the expression was revised.
2. The product I have trademarked was written in another post as it was.
Details of report
A report said that the product owned by the complainant is being used in other posts without permission, and that "it can be confirmed because it even holds the trademark right, so please delete it quickly."
Details of confirmation
As a result of checking the rights relationship such as trademark registration, it was confirmed that the same product was used without the consent of the right holder. We considered that there was a possibility of trademark infringement and took measures to delete the post.
Operational Complement Direction
This week's case started with a report of infringement of rights sent directly by the maker. Wadiz will strengthen its inspection to find cases of using other people's trademarks, brands, and product images without consent or registering them independently of rights holders, and will continue to monitor and inspect story and reward information that can lead to misconceptions of rights relationships.
