Starting February 2, 2026, we will implement a single global standard pricing plan as follows.

 

 

✅ Information on the Korean Maker Fee Plan (Commissions)

When running a project on wadiz, fees apply for the services required to operate the project.
The fee structure does not vary by project type and is calculated based onwadiz’s global standard flat-rate pricing.

Q. What services are included in the service fee? 

 

The service fee covers the basic services required to run your project smoothly.
 

  • Providing project analysis and operational guidance through the AI agent WAi

  • Project performance analysis and supporter behavior analysis via Data Plus

  • AI-powered automatic story translation support for global projects

  • AI-powered story review to proactively check for potential policy violations

  • News distribution and provision of default project display areas


 

Q. How are payment settlement processing fees applied?

 

The payment and settlement processing fee includes the following costs.
 

  • Payment processing fees incurred for domestic and international transactions 

  • System operation and processing costs for project settlements

They are applied as a combined fee consisting of a 3% payment processing fee and a basic service fee of 99,000 KRW (excluding VAT).


 

Q. What services are provided when I select the consulting service?

 

The consulting service identifies projects that can create synergy with wadiz, and a project director (PD) provides step-by-step operational guidance to ensure success. When using this service, additional benefits for project management are provided, and the fee rate is determined through separate consultation based on the scope of services offered.

  • Guidance on crafting project stories and designing Rewards

  • Proposals for project operation strategies and communication direction

  • Feedback on events, advertising, and overall operational workflow
     

2) Additional Benefits Provided When Using the Consulting Service 

  • Discount on Postpaid Advertising Fees (5% → 2.5%)
  • Postpaid Payment Limit Increased by Up to 100%
  • Priority Exposure for Exclusive Collections Within the Service

 

 

Q. What are the criteria for the first-time user discount?

 

Based on your business registration number, a “30% discount on the service fee” is automatically applied upon the first successful project. This benefit is offered as a promotional offer and may be discontinued without prior notice in accordance with our operating policies. 
 

※ Notice Regarding Promotion End Date (Applies only to Korean makers: If the business registration address on the Maker account is in Korea)

​The 30% discount on service fees for first-time wadiz makers applies only to projects submitted between February 2, 2026, and August 9, 2026.
Starting August 10, 2026, this promotion will no longer apply to projects submitted via Maker Studio, and the standard service fee will apply.

 


Q. Do the same fees apply to projects that include international payments? 

 

For Korean makers, the same fee structure applies regardless of whether payments are domestic or international. No additional fees are charged based on the country of payment.


 

Q. How are fees handled for refunds requested by supporters due to a change of mind after delivery is complete?

 

In accordance with the E-Commerce Act, our fee refund policy applies to refunds requested by supporters due to a change of mind within 7 days of delivery completion.

The criteria for fee refunds vary depending on the date of project submission, so please refer to the information below.

Projects submitted from March 27, 2026, to June 30, 2026 Service usage fees, consulting service fees, and advance settlement service fees—excluding payment/settlement processing fees—are non-refundable.
Projects submitted on or after July 1, 2026 All fees (including payment/settlement processing fees, service usage fees, consulting service fees, and advance settlement service fees) will be refunded, and no separate charges will be billed to the maker.

Q. Can any business operator outside of Korea run a project?

 

Wadiz currently supports project launches in South Korea, the United States, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Germany, Singapore, Poland, and Australia. Any corporate or individual business owner holding a business registration certificate from one of these countries can launch a project, and the list of supported countries is scheduled to expand sequentially.

Q. How are payment settlement processing fees applied?

 

This fee covers payment processing fees incurred for transactions within and outside South Korea, as well as various processing costs associated with the settlement process. It consists of a 4% payment processing fee plus a $99 basic service fee. 

 

 

Q. Are there separate currency exchange and remittance fees? 

 

For projects submitted after 12:00 AM on Monday, May 18, 2026, no separate currency exchange or remittance fees will be charged.

Please note that for international makers (businesses outside Korea), a separate 2% currency exchange and remittance fee was applied to projects submitted from Monday, February 2, 2026, through Sunday, May 17, 2026. The costs associated with foreign currency exchange and international remittance processing incurred during the settlement process were reflected in this fee.

The consulting service identifies projects that can create synergy with wadiz, and a Project Director (PD) provides step-by-step operational guidance to ensure success. When using this service, additional benefits for project management are provided, and the fee rate is determined through separate consultation based on the scope of services offered.

※ A “50% discount on the service fee” applies to projects submitted from Monday, February 2, 2026, through Sunday, May 17, 2026, while a “30% discount on the service fee” applies to projects submitted on or after Monday, May 18, 2026.

 

 

Q. How is settlement handled?
 

For global makers outside of Korea, settlement must be processed by linking a Stripe Connect or PingPong Payments account to Maker Studio, depending on the country where the business is located.

Makers outside of China (U.S., Japan, Hong Kong, etc.): Business verification (KYC) via Stripe Connect is required before the project launches, and the amount in U.S. dollars (USD) is finalized based on the [official exchange rate on the date the settlement statement is issued] and automatically transferred to the local bank account.

Makers in China: Registration of a PingPong Payments account is required, and payments will be disbursed in U.S. dollars (USD) based on the [real-time exchange rate at the time of the final transfer].
