Can anyone become a maker?

At Wadiz, both Korean and foreign makers can open projects. 

However, the conditions vary depending on the type of maker and how the project is carried out. 

※ 한국 메이커: 프로젝트 정보에 등록된 사업자등록지 또는 개인의 거소가 대한민국인 경우
※ 해외 메이커: 프로젝트 정보에 등록된 사업자등록지 또는 거소가 대한민국 외(해외) 국가인 경우

✅ Conditions for opening Korean maker project 

Depending on the type of project, Korean makers can proceed with the project under the following conditions.
 

Can minors also proceed with the project?
 

Minors are not allowed to open general funding projects in their personal capacity.

However, in the case of minors who are qualified as private or corporate businesses, the project can be carried out.

Exceptionally, individual minors can also proceed with sponsorship projects for personal self-realization or social value creation.

Please check it when you proceed with the sponsorship project.
 

Sponsorship projects can only be carried out by individuals, not business operators.

In addition, it is not possible to recruit more than 10 million won per year on the basis of the same purpose, and only limited and symbolic rewards can be provided within the scope permitted by the review policy.

✅ Conditions for opening overseas manufacturer projects 

Overseas manufacturers can proceed with the project if they are individual business owners or corporate businesses with business registration certificates in the following countries.
 

• If you have a business license in the United States, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Germany, Singapore, Poland, and Australia, you can proceed with the project.
   
• Chinese Maker (Applied PingPong Payments System)
  • Target country: Qualified as a legitimate business operator in China
  • Open Condition: Linkage and subscription to PingPong's acting account is required.
  • Settlement and Exchange Rate: You will receive settlement payments based on the final dollar (USD) by applying the real-time exchange rate at the time of remittance.

• Global makers outside of China (Applied with Stripe Connect system)
  • Target countries: US, Japan, Hong Kong, Germany, Singapore, Poland, Australia
  • Open Conditions: Project opening reservation and schedule can be made only after the final [approval is completed] of the Stripe Connect KYC (Business Certification) review in the Wadiz Studio Settlement Information menu.
  • Settlement and Exchange Rate: At the time of issuance of the settlement statement, the settlement is paid based on the final dollar (USD) by applying the real-time exchange rate.

How does the overseas manufacturer proceed with the project?
 

• If the Korean business registration is completed, the project can be carried out under the same conditions as → Korean maker.
• If you do not have a Korean business registration, → You can proceed with the project directly by sending rewards directly from overseas.
• (Note) Overseas makers cannot proceed with sponsorship projects. However, for foreign individuals, you can proceed only if you have your alien registration card, Korean contact information, and Korean accounts.
