What is design right infringement?

It refers to the act of violating the design right by using the design of another person without legitimate authority without permission.
 

In other words, if someone else uses or produces a design such as the appearance, shape, color, and pattern of a product registered without permission, it may be infringement of design rights.

The "design right" is one of the legally protected intellectual property rights by registering your creation.
Having the right to design gives you the right to be safe for up to 20 years to prevent your development from being copied or stolen. Care must be taken to ensure that the information posted on the project page, such as images, videos, fonts, and rewards, does not infringe on other people's design rights. 


 

The following acts are design rights It can be judged as an infringement.
 

  • If the registered design of another person is imitated or made similar

  • Where rewards are produced and sold using the appearance of the product without the permission of the design authority

  • If the image, video, font, graphic elements, etc. used in the project page infringe on the design rights of others

  • If the reward configuration or package design is substantially similar to the existing registered design

     

Please make sure to check before proceeding with the project! 
 

  • All design elements used in project pages and rewards must be hand-built or authorized.

  • If the infringement of design rights is identified, a request for modification of the project, restriction of progress, or suspension may be made.
