What should I do if Rewards shipments are likely to be delayed?

If there is a delay in sending the rewards than expected, please send the news to the supporters with a notice including the reason for the delay and the expected delivery date. In addition, if necessary, you can limit the cancellation of the supporters' payment for a certain period of time by switching to [preparing for shipment].

Until we complete the processing of sending the reward, you need to keep us updated with the news.
In particular, if a reward is not sent after the scheduled date of shipment, supporters can apply for a refund, so it is necessary to periodically share the expected schedule and progress. 

 

 

✅ 'Preparing to ship' feature guide 

If the shipping schedule is inevitably delayed after the end of the project, please set the [Preparing to ship] function.
This feature allows you to temporarily restrict supporters' requests to cancel direct payments and clearly indicate that you are currently preparing to send a reward.

 

  • Coverage: Global projects included, all projects covered (excluding stores) 
  • Exposure point: From D+3 days (the day after the final settlement date) as of the end of the project, to the point of exposure before the shipment is processed
  • Application period: Hold for up to 30 days from the date of establishment
  • Restrictions on use: 1 time per shipment number only 

 

※ Matters to be noted

 

  • [Preparing to ship] The function should never be used to prevent supporters from canceling their payments.
    This feature should only be set up when the shipment is actually imminent, and indiscriminate use without preparation for shipment can have a significant impact on supporter trust.

  • If the shipment is not processed within 30 days of setting up, it will automatically switch to "not sent" status, and supporters will then be able to request payment cancellation.

  • This feature is only applicable once per shipment number, so please use it carefully when the actual reward shipping schedule is confirmed.
