In what currency are payments for Global Project supporters processed?

Korean supporters participating in the global project will pay in Korean won (KRW), and outside of Korea, they will pay in dollars (USD). Even if the local currency is displayed, the actual payment will be processed in dollars (USD).

✅ Local currency will be displayed together on the screen of overseas supporters.

  • If a global supporter participates in the project, the payment screen will show the dollar amount along with the amount converted to the currency of the country.
    • For example, for Chinese supporters, CNY+ USD is displayed together on the payment screen, which is a reference guide to help supporters intuitively understand the actual payment amount.

  • The amount is automatically calculated based on the same-day exchange rate, and the actual payment currency is always in dollars (USD).

⚠️ Actual payment amount may vary depending on exchange rate and fee.

  • At the time of payment, the card company-based exchange rate used by the supporter and the overseas payment fee are applied, so there may be a difference between the indicated foreign currency amount and the actual card bill amount.

  • Therefore, it is important to inform your supporters of that in advance.
