A case of promoting the effectiveness of dermatological procedures in anticipation
It is a case of expression that suggests the same or similar effect as dermatological procedures, which could lead to consumer misunderstanding. Using dermatological procedures, medical devices,\n raw material ampoules, etc. to recognize cosmetics as having the same effect as dermatological procedures may be in violation of Article 13\n of the Cosmetics Act.

Case of misrepresentation of health functional foods
This is an example of using expressions that imply human efficacy and function, such as UV protection, erythema suppression, and skin health improvement, in general foods.\n Rewards are inner beauty and health-related foods.\n Acts that indicate disease treatment, prevention, or functional efficacy in general foods are subject to advertising types that may be restricted pursuant to Article 8 of the Act on Labeling and Advertising of Food, etc.

03 · This week's main issue — Cases of infringement of maker's intellectual property rights

We share the case of intellectual property infringement on reward function, design theft, and unauthorized use of images.
1. Report on Intellectual Property Infringement Related to Design and Function
Details of report
High similarity was found in the overall design and function of existing Wadiz public products, and reports related to infringement of intellectual property rights\n related to rewards were received.
Details of confirmation
As a result of checking, similar parts were identified in some designs and functions, but the handicap steam iron structure, adsorption\n method, and wrinkle removal expression were commonly used in the industry. In addition, it is difficult to determine whether a specific design right or intellectual property right is infringed only with the submitted contents and data, which requires additional verification through a specialized agency.


2. Reports of unauthorized use of images
Details of report
A report of infringement of related intellectual property rights\n has been filed because it is suspected that the user review image in the project story was used without additional processing.
Details of confirmation
As a result, it was confirmed that the image was uploaded without being replaced by a self-produced image during the internal design work process using other brand images for reference purposes. The \n image in question has since been removed from the detail page immediately, and it has been confirmed that the original brand has been contacted separately to share the facts\n and apologize.


Operational Complement Direction
Based on the above case, Wadiz will continue to strengthen the inspection of images and expressions used in the project story to prevent consumer confusion by using other people's images, contents, and designs without permission.




04 · Summary of this week's operations

It was a week to review intellectual property-related issues received through AI monitoring and reporting channels, and to expedite processing and guidance according to operational policy standards.

We monitored 217 projects, 32 of which led to maker clarification requests and 3 to non-exposure measures.

Reporting Processing Status
In all six cases received to report, the first action was completed, and the main types of reporting were intellectual property infringement and\n violation of operation and community policy.
